Paddles By M. & C. Pennington

Our hand-crafted wooden paddles are manufactured in Santa Anna, Texas, USA, by Mary and Courtney Pennington.  It takes one week from start to finish for each paddle.

These are some of the most beautiful paddles you can acquire.

The oar shaft is laminated of five pieces of spruce and paduke. On the Power paddle, which is our widest (9 1/2") the shaft is spruce, paducke, spruce, paducke and spruce.  The shaft is 1 1/4" octagon and sanded which gives you a better grip for control whether you are boating, canoeing or paddle boarding.
The T handle is 4 1/4" by 1 1/4" and matches the shaft.  The upper part of the shaft tapers from 1 1/4" to 3/4" which joins the T handle.  The paddle blade consists of spruce, Ponderosa pine, and paduke.

The blade has a transparent fiberglass cloth on both sides for strength and durability.  The shaft and T handle has three coats of urethane.  The paddles come in overall length of 53", 56", 59" and 66".  The stand-up paddle is 88" overall.
